eDay - Recycle your computer

This Saturday (29 September), Invercargill will host its first eDay. You can drop off your old computers (wipe the disc first!), monitors, scanners, mouses, keyboards, printers, cell phones etc, at the NZ Army Drill Hall on Victoria Ave. The hall will be open from 9am-3pm. Dairy Factory Exhibition


The Otautau Museum is holding an exhibition featuring the Otautau Dairy Factory. Started in 1906, this factory was a significant aspect of life in the district for over 70 years. Among the items on display are tools used at the factory and vintage photographs. The museum is open Sundays, 2pm-4pm. Entry is free but donations are gratefully accepted. The exhibition closes 28 October.
