Hats & Scarves: A Heady Affair

Hats & Scarves: A Heady Affair opened today at the Otautau Museum. This is a nice display of men's, women's and children's hats from various times and places. The display is on until 18 April. You can find out more on the Otautau Museum blog.

Ranfurly Shield

Last month, the intrepid Otautau Walking Group happened to be in the same place at the same time as the Ranfurly Shield. Here they are at PGG Wrightson on Main Street catching a photo op. From left to right, Muriel Brown, Fay Ballam, Wilma Keen and Jo Brooks. This picture was contributed by Muriel Brown. It's great to see the Shield back in Southland and making the rounds.
