Changes in Main Street

Some things come in three's. On Main Street, three empty buildings now have a new lease on life.

Vet South, which was previously in the old premises of Wesney Jewellers and the Otautau Bakery, has moved to the north end of town. This was the Simple Systems building and, before that, known as McAlister's Electrical. In the very old days, it was the site of Sheedy's Blacksmith.

A new gym is now in full swing in the former New Life Church and originally known as the Trust Bank. This is great news for folks wanting to improve their fitness regardless of the weather. Ask at the Otautau Medical Centre for more information.

With a new gym, of course we need a new cafe. This building (ex-accountant's) is getting the necessary makeover to emerge as a new eating establishment in the town.
