Census Shocker

It's hard to believe but the 2013 census data shows Otautau's population has declined.

The Usually Resident Population shows Otautau at 669 - a fall from 753 in 2006 and 729 in 2001.

The following table deserves close inspection as many small communities including Riverton have also declined.

The first pop column is 2001, then 2006, then 2013.
